When working with Broadway Media and X96, I had the pleasure to work on the 2016 Toyota Big Ass Show. the "BASH" is a one-day music festival, bringing in headlining acts of the Alternative genre. Each year, the theme would revolve around a donkey, leaning into whatever social issue or exciting new music trend was going on that year. in 2016, we decided to bring it back to good old fashioned Rock, and incorporate musical instruments into the existing donkey motif. Combined with the iconic Utah Rocky Mountains, we were able to create some exciting merch that sold out on the day of the festival. here are some examples the work I created.
Although it was a wet, cold, and rainy day, the crowd and musical acts did not disappoint. This years line up included the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, AWOLNATION, and The Offspring. Each show brought electricity, excitement, and all sorts of memories to look back on.
