During the Pandemic, the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed until the following year. During that time, a popular Instagram account (@logoinspirations) put out a logo design contest, to see how designers would envision the Olympics being held in their home town. I thought it might be fun to see what it would be like if they came to Park City, Utah in the not too distant future.
Additionally, during the rescheduled 2020 Olympics, Another challenge was given through the first week, ending in a redesign of our favorite Olympic events. I took the challenge and decided to redesign the Salt Lake 2002 Olympics. It was a humbling experience to rework an already successful brand and system.









Revisiting the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympics for a redesign was an absolute thrill! The primary logo for the
event happens to be one of my all-time favorites, so diving into its branding was like a dream project. Reliving the excitement of the games while exploring the design and creative process was not only incredibly fun but also
a fantastic opportunity to deepen my knowledge of branding and large-scale sporting events.
